It’s really one of the slicker iPhone apps seen for any purpose. Certainly, you can extract news on the candidate, his position papers and crusade videos. But it also determines the position of the device (using the GPS built into the new iPhones or the Wi-Fi connection in the older ones) to identify local events and to distinguish the closest office that is recruiting campaign volunteers.
Most important, the application directs the user’s phone contacts to highlight those in swing states. It asks users to call their friends in those states to vote for Senator Obama. Users then can describe who they called and what their reaction was. The options include “Not Interested,” “Considering Obama” and “Already Voted”.
These moves highlight the shifting role of advertising in politics, driven by technology. Now in a world where media is participatory, politicians are always in the lead.

Blackberry pearl 8220 goes Flip
We usually see blackberry phones as looking like a straight phone with full qwerty keypad but now, grace yourself as you are about to experience a new kind of going from the blackberry pearl which is the flip phone. Yes, jut like any other Motorola phone, it is rectangular in shape and has the full pad inside in a wavy kind of design but the quality and software of the blackberry pearl has been improved.
The clam shell edition of this blackberry pearl has become more functional ever than the straight design. Not only does it have the numerical nine digit keypad but it also has the full QWERTY buttons in it. The display is till sharp and it functions in two ways: first is that the outer screen can show you the clock, messages and missed calls received while of course, the second is when it is opened of course is you can see the full menu. What is nice about the flip edition of this phone is that it functions regularly as a smart phone — it has wi-fi for your instant messaging, mp3 player, camera, and video playback plus an expandable memory as well. This phone is super nice specially for business people since it doesn’t look much of an attraction for the thieves but functions as a smart phone as well.
