RIM Doing Work On BlackBerry Bold-Storm Hybrid with 5MP Camera
RIM created a phone that was akin to the BlackBerry Bold, except with a touchscreen display, that it would trade like pancakes. It may quite possibly be the complete business mobile. Well, it looks like our tiny pipe aspiration is coming true.
There is a clear-cut possibility that Research in Motion is forming on a BlackBerry superphone that blends a near-HD quality touchscreen and a full QWERTY keyboard. In this manner, we could be looking at at a hybrid between the Bold and the Storm in some mode. Alternatively, RIM could do something akin to the HTC slider phones.
Among the other reported specs on this yet inactive phone are a 5 megapixel autofocus camera and a full gig of RAM. It’s like the Treo on ‘berry-flavored steroids. An added source is sounding out that second and third generation Storms are already in the works.
